Teresa's Wedding 11/5/16

A few weekends ago, my amazing cousin Teresa got married and Josh and I went. It was the most amazing wedding! I loved every minute of it!

We took a lot of pictures and had a wonderful time! Josh and I got to practice some of our dance moves that we've been practicing in dance class, so that was exciting.

They always had something really cool going on--there was never a dull moment.
(One of) the flowergirl(s) arrived in a remote control car. It was really cute, she threw the petals from the car. The ring bear was supposed to ride in in a car as well, but he wasn't feeling up for it, so he walked.
My beautiful cousin Teresa escorted down "the aisle" by my cousin Mikey. Little Emma, one of the flower girls ran back to be a part of it.
"Do you?" "Do you?"
"You may kiss the bride!"

The new Mr & Mrs!

The wedding was very short--the whole thing took about five minutes. It was basically "Do you?" "Do you?" "I now pronounce you husband and wife."

During cocktail hour, my dad had us go off and take some pictures on the beautiful golf course. :)

The reception was the best! The had a seafood plate and meat & cheese crackers for a cocktail hour, all the drinks, all night, were free! For dinner, they had several options to choose from--I opted for the beef. Desert was--not a cake, but instead, a BASKIN ROBBINS ICE CREAM BUFFET!!!! How crazy is that!?
Miss Emma adjusting her shoe.

I thought this was a super artsy picture that I took of one of the flower girls on a hill!
My beautiful girls! Love these two "little" cousins! Susanna & Madison.

Sitting at the grown ups table, with my dad and the aunts and uncles, like the grown ups we are!

The young people table that I am, sadly, now too old for. :'( lol

Me and my dad, enjoying cocktail hour!

They had really cool group dances that everyone danced to--I got to learn the wobble, and we all did the Cha-Cha slide. I normally don't like these, but doing it in the group setting was actually a really fun experience! It caused me to re-think these activities for our wedding!
With my beautiful aunts! Aunt Kathy and Aunt Lizy. Love these guys!

Me with Lynelle, Madison, and Lynden. I've known these girls their whole life! It's amazing watching them grow into beautiful young women. <3

Aunt Lizy dancing with my adorable cousin Abigail.

We all crazy danced to Uptown Funk, which was probably one of my favorite parts! My cousin Joey danced by jumping up and down, like a fish, leaping out of the water; it was very funny!
Their first dance as husband and wife!

They did a money dance, only they called it a "Honeymoon Dance". It was super classy and Josh and I both went and danced with the couple.
Such a fun picture of the bouquet toss! This was the first one--the one Mikey swooped in and caught.

My wonderful cousin Madison, who gave me the bouquet because she didn't want to be the next bride (and I actually am!) :) <3
John's "sexy garter toss" dance. XD
He's searching hard for that garter!
All the guys are excited to catch it!

John's son Robert caught the garter.

The "next bride and groom"!

The bouquet toss was a lot of fun! I won't have many more opportunities to do that, so I wanted to take advantage of it this time! Teresa's brother, Mikey, leaped in at the last minute and caught the bouquet, which was pretty funny! She took it back though and did it again and my cousin Madison caught it. She gave it to me though because she doesn't want to be the next bride. :) lol

John, Teresa's husband, was very funny when doing the garter toss. He did this really funny, "sexy dance" up to her and got it. Josh was in the crowd of guys for catching it, but one of John's sons caught it instead.
Me with the bride--my beautiful cousin Teresa! She looked like a princess! <3
My beautiful cousin Mary, who was one of the bridesmaids. She will also be one of my bridesmaids next year! <3

It was such a wonderful wedding--we had an incredible time. I absolutely loved it. I was so happy for Teresa, I cried multiple times during the evening. It reminded me of that song "I Love to Cry at Weddings" from Sweet Charity. :')

Beautiful Day.

  1. Nice pictures of a lovely event. How nice of you to 'cover it' for those of us not able to be there, but who care a lot about that beautiful bride. Best wishes for a wonderful future!!!
