Wedding Photo Shoot - July 2nd, 2017

One of my amazing step-mom's presents to Josh and I was a wedding photo shoot. This took several visits out to CA to make happen (visit for me to try dresses, fitting day for Josh, and finally, the photo shoot day). Everything was done by Lamai Bridal, in Garden Grove, CA. Our photographer was Andy, who brought his wonderful wife to assist. Josh and I each had two outfits, and we took photos in a park in Irvine, and then at Laguna Beach.

It was an awesome day, and everyone keep telling us "Congratulations!" which was really awesome.

My step-mom, Nga, bought us an incredible photo album, and a large, framed picture, which we displayed (both) at our wedding. It was such an incredible gift, and I want to share the pictures with you here.

This is the one we chose to have enlarged and framed, which was displayed at our wedding.

I was really uncertain about getting the dress wet, but the photographer, Andy, assured me it was alright, and they got the dresses wet all the time for photo shoots, so out we go, into the water.
Right after this picture was taken, a huge wave hit! I tried my best to remain standing, but the force of the water pulled me down. Josh, the lifeguard, and Andy, all raced to help me up, but I couldn't get my footing--the dress had so many layers, every time I tried to stand, I would just end up standing on another layer!
I finally get my footing and am able to stand. We only took a few more photos after that, but I would say we had a pretty epic photo shoot day.
